Outer Banks Thanksgiving Restaurants – Carving out time for with your family and friends is probably the most important things you can do during the holiday season. Just sit back, relax and let someone else do to cooking and cleaning. For 2018, there are many restaurants open during Thanksgiving on the Outer Banks. Make a reservation at one of the following restaurants.
Lifesaving Station Restaurant @ The Sanderling – Sit down to a 4-course plated meal; some of the meal choices include Blue Crab Baked Brie, Free Range Turkey Rouladen, Seared Scallops, Center-Cut Filet of Certified Angus Beef and finishing up with Flourless Chocolate Torte or Pumpkin Spiced Creme Brulee. This is fine dining at its best. They will be open from 12:00–8:00pm. Adults $55; Kids ages 4-12 $25.
Fishbones Raw Bar– Join us at Fishbones for a wonderful made from scratch plated 3 -course Thanksgiving Day Feast. Reserve early limited space available. Open from 12:00 until 6:00. Adults $24, Children 12 and under $12.Call 252-261-6991 to reserve your table.
Tommy’s Natural Foods Market – If you are set on eating Thanksgiving at home but want to cut down on all the prep work you can order everything you need from Tommy’s Market either fully cooked or ready to cook. Just download their order form and call 252-261-8990 to place your order, it will be ready for pick.

Captain George’s Seafood – Traditional Thanksgiving buffet, also including crab legs, shrimp, and so many other options that there is some to satisfy everyone!! Open 11:30am–9:00pm. Adult buffet is $36.99.
Jolly Roger – celebrating all day starting with breakfast from 6:30-11:30. Then an AYCE Thanksgiving Feast starting at 1:00 with all the traditional offerings for $16.95. Children are their age plus .99. Call 252-441-6530 to reserve your space.
Mako’s Beach Grille & Bar – Will be serving their full menu all day long!! In additional from 12:00-8: 00 pm they will be serving a plated traditional Thanksgiving meal consisting of turkey, ham, dressing, potatoes and more. (Includes desert) The plated meal will $16.95 for adults and $6.95 for children under 12.
Basnight’s Lone Cedar Café – Their 11th Annual Thanksgiving Buffet will have fresh local food. Too much to list here, but a few stars of the show are Green Tail Shrimp, Sea Scallops, Fried Oysters, Baked local catch, Turkey, and all the traditional sides. They are open from 10:30 am – 7:00 pm. Dirty Dick’s Crab House – Will be serving up their ever-favorite Thanksgiving buffet, including a carving station with turkey, pork, ham, all the traditional Thanksgiving offerings plus Mahi, Crab Cakes and more. Open 11:00 am–6:00 pm. Adults $28.99, seniors $23.99, kids 12 & under $12.99 . TO-Go & “Left Overs” per pound $9.99. $39.99 AYCE Snow/Dungeness Crab Legs includes buffet.
Mulligan’s Raw Bar & Grille – Take in the ocean views while enjoying and Thanksgiving Buffet. Mulligan’s will be featuring all the traditional Thanksgiving fare along with some coastal cuisine such as Oysters Rockefeller, Flounder, Shrimp and Grits, Crab Cakes more. They will be open from 11:00am – 6:00pm Adults $32.00, Seniors $26.00 Kids 10 & under $16.00. Call 252-480-2000 for reservations.
Owen’s Restaurant – 36th year serving Thanksgiving dinner!! Enjoy a Southern Coastal Cuisine Thanksgiving Buffet. Featuring Turkey, Prime Rib, Stuffing, Desserts, Stuffed lobster, Hatteras seafood combination, and more—you gotta just see the menu. Open 12–8:30 pm. Adults $37.95, ages 6-12 $18.95, under 5 is FREE.
Pamlico Jack’s – Serving their famous Thanksgiving Buffet & Oyster Festival!! Bottles of wine under $16. Open from 10:00 until 7:00. Adults $34.95, Seniors $25.95, Children under 12 are $16.95, and kids under five are FREE. Call 252-441-2637 for reservations.
Currituck BBQ – They are taking orders for our delicious fried or smoked turkeys and smoked hams. Orders for Smoked Turkeys need to be in by a November 15th and orders for Fried Turkeys or Smoked Hams must be in by November 17th. Place your order by calling 252-453-6618
Once you have had your fill of Thanksgiving fare, fight the tryptophan and go explore this beautiful sandbar!! There is plenty to do. You can enjoy and explore any one of our beautiful beaches, venture out on a hike on one of the many trails in the Outer Banks or up Jockeye’s Ridge State Park, the tallest sand dune on the east coast. On Friday, you can get your picture taken with Santa at Jockey’s Ridge Crossing and stick around to see the Kites with Lights. Fall is a great time to visit the Outer Banks, we still have so many events and fun activities.
